01 — The Kennel

We believe you shouldn't have to choose between health, temperament, and drive.

Tierkreis Kennels is a CKC registered Belgian Shepherd kennel based in Western Canada, breeding since 2021.

Our goal is simple, even when the dogs themselves are anything but simple: to produce healthy, balanced Belgian Shepherds with stable temperaments, meaningful drive, and the versatility to thrive in more than one world.

A Tierkreis dog should be capable of being a loved family companion while still having the substance to work, compete, show, or step into something entirely unexpected — including the world of film.

We don't believe families should have to compromise between temperament, health, structure, and the qualities that make a Belgian Shepherd unmistakably Belgian.

02 — Our Approach

Four things we refuse to compromise.

Health

Sound bodies and thoughtful health testing form the foundation of every breeding decision.

Temperament

Stable, capable dogs who can think, recover, engage with their people, and navigate the world with confidence.

Drive

We value the spark that makes a Belgian Shepherd want to do something — and the balance that makes that drive useful.

Versatility

A great Belgian should not be defined by a single arena. Companion, worker, sport dog, show dog or something completely unexpected — capability matters.
